Aim

We aim to produce reviews on all aspects of the prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care of multiple sclerosis, giving priority to cover intervention design to:

  • improve recovery from an acute exacerbation;
  • decrease the number or severity of exacerbations;
  • prevent or delay the onset of the progressive phase;
  • prevent or delay progression;
  • improve symptoms: pain, visual dysfunction, spasticity, weakness, fatigue, imbalance, tremor, sphincter dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, psychological and cognitive impairment;
  • rehabilitation care;
  • palliative care;
  • improve quality of care;
  • organisation of services.

We also give priority to cover interventions related to Rare Disease of the CNS:

  • Inflammatory disorders
  • Hereditary disorders
  • Infectious disorders
  • Mitochondrial disorders
  • Vasculitis disorders
  • Other disorders
