We aim to produce reviews on all aspects of the prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care of multiple sclerosis, giving priority to cover intervention design to:
- improve recovery from an acute exacerbation;
- decrease the number or severity of exacerbations;
- prevent or delay the onset of the progressive phase;
- prevent or delay progression;
- improve symptoms: pain, visual dysfunction, spasticity, weakness, fatigue, imbalance, tremor, sphincter dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, psychological and cognitive impairment;
- rehabilitation care;
- palliative care;
- improve quality of care;
- organisation of services.
We also give priority to cover interventions related to Rare Disease of the CNS:
- Inflammatory disorders
- Hereditary disorders
- Infectious disorders
- Mitochondrial disorders
- Vasculitis disorders
- Other disorders
